Futures

First Light Foundation SA is a registered Section 18A, Level 1 B-BBEE, Black female-led organisation committed to empowering women and girls and strengthening communities across South Africa.

Through our Queens sanitary products and hygiene initiatives, we work to address period poverty by providing affordable menstrual products, education, health awareness and support to girls and women in underserved communities.

Our Purpose

To support, grow and make a meaningful difference in our communities by restoring dignity and creating opportunities for women and girls.

Education & Awareness

We provide menstrual health education and awareness programmes that address stigma, myths and cultural taboos while helping girls stay in school and confidently pursue their education.

Community Empowerment

We work with schools, villages, community leaders, educators, social workers and trusted women in communities to create lasting and sustainable change.

Our Impact

Our goal is to expand access to affordable hygiene products while empowering women and girls to live, learn and thrive with dignity, confidence and equal opportunity.
